Slideshow allows you to view multiple image files one at a time.
Pictures can be changed automatically with a timer or manually with
your arrow keys or Mouse Buttons. Slideshow supports Bitmaps
(*.bmp), Graphics Interchange Format (*.gif), JPEG File Interchange
Format (*.jpg), Windows Meta Files (*.wmf) and Enhanced Meta Files
(*.emf). Files from Multiple locations can be used in the same slide
show. Multiple file formats can also be displayed in the same slide
show. |

This application was written using the MFC and
uses a COM object built into Microsoft Internet Explorer to display
pictures.
Two questions always come up, why MFC, well this is a full blown
client and time was an issue. The problem with MFC is if you want a banana
you get the tree, the ape, the island, and the ocean. For this reason I
fully exploit MFC. A couple of interesting features here are the use of
owner drawn controls and customize common dialogs and Online Help.
